For players with the dice tray
Rollcaster
Watches your tray through an overhead camera, reads every roll the moment the dice settle, and shares the result with your table.

Roll your own dice into your own tray. Rollcaster watches from above, reads every die the moment it settles, and shares the result with your table — across the room or across the world.

Tap the die to roll
No special dice, no app on your phone, no typing numbers into chat. Just roll.
Into your own tray, with your own lucky dice, the way it should be.
A camera above the tray sees the dice settle, and Rollcaster reads every face. If a die is hard to read, it asks rather than guesses.
Results appear for everyone in your shared session — with a short video of the dice landing, if you like.
Your dice stay real. Everything else gets easier.
When a die is hard to read, Rollcaster pauses and asks someone to confirm. A shaky reading never slips through quietly.
Shared sessions put everyone’s rolls on everyone’s screen. Post rolls to your Discord channel, or send them to Foundry VTT (in testing) and your own tools.
Your camera picture stays on your computer. Rollcaster only ever connects out, and shares pictures of your dice only if you turn that on.
Marbled, glittery, dark-on-dark: import a dice pack for your set, or teach Rollcaster your own in a few minutes per die type.
Pick the one that matches how you play. Everyone in a shared session can use either.
Mac players can join shared sessions, updates from inside the app now reopen cleanly on a Mac, and Calibrate can find your tray for you.
Rollcaster reads d6s with pips, deep enrolled dice sets stay out of each other's way, and the setup tour, title bar and light mode get a polish. Plus a catch-up on 0.4.4, the version that updates itself.
