Rollcaster 0.4.3: your rolls, straight into Discord
Rollcaster 0.4.3 is out for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Rolls on Discord
If your group plays on Discord, Rollcaster can now post your rolls straight into your table's channel, under your name, with every die and the totals. If you've chosen to share pictures, a close-up of each die goes along too.
- On the Play screen, paste a channel webhook into the new Discord card. Where do I get this? on the card walks you through making one.
- In a shared session, only the person who runs the Discord server needs to connect. Everyone's rolls are posted under their own names, and that person can even be a GM using Rollcaster Eye.
The getting started guide has the details.
Smaller things
- New installs start with the tray crop already fitted to the Rollcaster rig's round tray, so there's less to adjust during setup.
- The Help link in the setup walkthrough now opens our troubleshooting guide.
- The minimized Rollcaster icon now moves cleanly when you drag it, with no ghost image trailing behind.
